The City of Tulsa and Tulsa Planning Office seek preliminary concepts from professional artists and designers for a public art installation to be commissioned outside the forthcoming USA BMX National Headquarters The project site rests in an area primed for revitalization and publicity. The new facility will house USA BMX’s National Headquarters, a state-of-the-art BMX track, and the organization’s Hall of Fame. The facility will host international audiences and draw residents and visitors into Tulsa’s storied Greenwood neighborhood and Downtown districts.

The project site rests in an area primed for revitalization and publicity. The new facility will house USA BMX’s National Headquarters, a state-of-the-art BMX track, and the organization’s Hall of Fame. The facility will host international audiences and draw residents and visitors into Tulsa’s storied Greenwood neighborhood and Downtown districts.

Artists interested in being considered should submit their proposals to the Tulsa Planning Office no later than 5:00 PM CDT on Wednesday December 4th, 2019.

To be eligible for selection, you must attend or call in to at least one of the above-listed pre-submittal meetings. The meetings will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Tulsa Planning Office: 2 W Second Street, 8th Floor, Tulsa, OK 74103.
