Oklahoma Air National Guard's 138th Fighter Wing, Tulsa

The City of Tulsa is accepting submissions from professional artists or teams of artists for a significant public art opportunity near the Tulsa International Airport.

Due to the high-security nature of the Air National Guard’s Mission Training Center, this public art installation will be placed in an outside viewing area at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium.

Details: This Call for Artists seeks to identify artist teams or artists capable of designing, fabricating, and installing a sculptural installation commemorating the Oklahoma Air National Guard, its 138th Fighter Wing, and Technical Sergeant Marshal (Moo) Dakota Roberts, who died in combat on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 while deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq.

Staff will hold an optional conference call to address applicants’ questions on June 29, 2022. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. CDT on July 27, 2022.
