The Tulsa Planning Office at INCOG is seeking a Neighborhood Revitalization Planner who is ambitious, hard‑working, and creative to join our team. Our work helps guide development projects for the City of Tulsa and unincorporated Tulsa County with a focus on improving quality of life for all who spend time in Tulsa. The Neighborhood Revitalization Planner will be primarily responsible for facilitating the Vibrant Neighborhoods Partnership program, a neighborhood revitalization program for the City of Tulsa. The Vibrant Neighborhoods Partnership works with prioritized and enrolled neighborhoods, for a minimum of three years each, to develop improvement plans and implement neighborhood improvement projects. The Neighborhood Revitalization Planner is responsible for all operations of the program including broad and inclusive engagement with the neighborhoods, coordination with city department staff and involved community partners, and development and growth of the program including the research and application of applicable public and private grants.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work well with a range of audiences and stakeholders at the neighborhood level with a keen awareness toward socially inclusive planning and engagement processes. The ideal candidate understands best practices for community development and neighborhood revitalization, and demonstrates excellent organization, project management, and communication skills.

Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in urban planning or related field is required. Annual salary range starting at $49,000 to $55,000; specific compensation based on qualifications and experience. Comprehensive health and retirement benefits package included.
